If Jesus said: Matthew 21:21 - "Even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen.", why doesn't it move when you tell it too? If Jesus said: Matthew 21:22 - "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.", then why aren't you receiving anything? If Jesus said:
Mark 16:17 -
"These signs will accompany
those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak
with new tongues;
Matthew 18:19 - "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.then why are the demons "not" leaving, you're not speaking in new tongues, drinking deadly poison, and why aren't people being healed, when you lay your hands on them? ~ Going against the Traditional Christian Church ~ First let me tell you why this has "not" worked for you. If you're reading this, you were born within the last 100 years. I receive derogatory email from time to time, because my teachings appear to go against the traditional Christian Church. The problem is, what has been presented during the last few hundred years, is "not" the traditional Christian Church. The Traditional Christian Church, is what Paul and the other disciples started a couple of thousand years ago, and I am completely in line with it! What "you" have been exposed to, has been twisted throughout the years. (Think about it) ~ Priorities are Wrong ~ As only one example of many, the Christian Church that you have been exposed to, places money, material things and "self", ahead of Jesus Christ! (and has done so as long as you have known it) Think about it. You have been taught that you must give 10% of your earnings to the church, or you will be cursed. (Malachi - old testament) The new testament says: Acts 2:21 'AND IT SHALL BE THAT EVERYONE WHO CALLS ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.' So in essence, you've been taught that "through Christ, is the only way to heaven" ~AND~ "You are cursed with a curse if you don't tithe". You see, only one of these scriptures can be true! "Not Both". One of these ways, you depend on Christ only, the other depends on something "you" do to earn your way to heaven. (by the way, you can't earn your way into heaven) ~ Feel Good Sermons ~ The majority of people in this day and age, have been conditioned to attend whatever church makes them "feel good about themselves". On the other hand, the majority of preachers have learned that the better they make you feel about yourself, the heavier the offering plate is, when it makes it's way back to the podium. This is not only wrong, it's dangerous. Believers should leave the church "edified", but not feeling like they just left a "self help" program or seminar. To be edified, is to be "build up" in Christ. The other is to be "puffed up" in yourself. ~ You've Been told what "you" want to hear ~ For instance: (Quotes) "You're a child of the living God -
Your the head, not the tail" Don't get too discouraged yet. I'm not saying these statements/scriptures aren't true, I'm just going to tell you why they haven't been working for "you". There are too many of these "feel good" sayings to quote here. Preachers are getting filthy rich telling you what God is going to do for you. Let me point out that, you are not being trained up to be blessed, you are being trained up to "be the blessing". It isn't about what God can do for you. Granted, God can, and God will, but if that is your main motivation, all you'll receive is a lump of coal in your stocking. The sad part is, you're probably not being trained up at all, if you're listening to these people. You're being told just what you want to hear, not what God wants you to hear, and someone is getting rich telling it to you. You're paying to have someone tell you in effect that, God is Santa Claus, If you tithe and believe in him, all you have to do is hand him your early Christmas list, then magically, you'll get everything you desire. ~ Are the Promises in the Bible true? ~ The answer to this question is: Without a doubt, absolutely, without question, most certainly, you can take it to the bank - YES! However, you'll never be able to claim these promises, if you keep listening to those people, and following those teachings. You've heard me say it before, and you'll probably hear me say it again and again. "If it's for sale, it's probably not God selling it". If you have ever wondered if a persons teachings are inspired by God, you would do well to remember that saying. ~ What's Been Holding You Back ~ First let me tell you why you haven't been getting results or answers. These "feel good" sermons that teach you, that all you have to do is believe and pay, then anything you want is yours, may make you feel good, but they also teach you to skip over the most important things.
~ What is the secret to claiming these promises? ~ The most important thing these prosperity preachers neglect to tell you is, when Jesus made these statements such as: Mark 16:17 - "These signs will accompany those who have believed: in My name they will cast out demons, they will speak with new tongues;Mark 16:18 - they will pick up serpents, and if they drink any deadly poison, it will not hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."~ and ~ Matthew 21:22 - "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."~ and ~ Luke 11:9 - "So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.Luke 11:10 - "For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.There was one thing in common with all these statements by Jesus. These are powerful promises, but in every instance, Jesus was talking to the "Disciples". He was referring to people that had dedicated their lives to following him. People who were learning from him, with the mission to "Pass it On". So the next time some preacher tells you that all you have to do is say the words "I accept you Jesus" as casually as one says "It's in the mail", then you'll be endowed with power over those sinners in the back row, say to him "I WANT MY MONEY BACK!" ~ The Coming Day of Reckoning ~ Jesus said only a few will make it to heaven. A great proportion of the modern day Christian Church is just short of being repulsive. There is an epidemic of spiritual gluttony. Everyone is seeking the gift, but no one is seeking the giver of the gift. In a great deal of churches, on almost every street corner in the country, you will find no shortage of self proclaimed prophets, people babbling in tongues and people with a "Word or Vision from the Lord". These people generally serve no purpose in the body of Christ, except to glorify themselves. The pews are filled with people who only want to hear what God can do for them. Open up the windows of heaven, gifts of the spirit and promises of wealth if they tithe. The day of reckoning will truly be the hardest on the preachers of these congregations, that encourage and teach these things. Their motivation is money. They have learned that this self absorbed generation will not support a ministry with their money, unless it is out of guilt or the promise of financial gain in return, and even some of the most righteous appearing preachers, play it for all it's worth. ~ The Heart ~ Although I get a ton of email thanking me for this ministry and testimonies as to how it has helped people, very few of them will actually support it with even a dollar. I receive prayer requests from people asking me to pray that they would win the lottery. I've heard several times "If God will let me win the lottery, I'll send you a donation, and I'll help the poor". Now, I have nothing against anyone winning the lottery, and if I had my way, everybody would. However, the truth is, if a person will not put a dollar in an envelope and send it, they will not send $100.00 if they win $10,000,000.00 in the lottery either. One is as affordable as the other. With the exception of donations from a few good people, I have covered the costs of this ministry myself. I believe God will truly bless these few. Not because they gave to support this ministry, but for the reason in which they gave. "To support God's Work" I guarantee you, no one received a guilt sermon from me. Neither did anyone receive false promises of wealth and blessings until they couldn't even contain them. They gave expecting no reward, and to simply spread the word of Jesus Christ, just as the Lord commanded. No more - No less. If you want to see where a persons heart is, just follow their money! Where is your heart? Do you give? If so, where do you give, and why do you do it? If you are expecting a return on your investment in any way, you are wasting your money and throwing it away. (sorry) Don't give out of guilt and don't give expecting to get rich. Instead, go, and give it to the poor, or the person who can't pay their heating bill. But that's only half of it. Don't let them, or anyone else know where the money came from. Don't drive up in a van painted with a bright Church Logo or waiving a "WWJD" flag, just slip it under their door. (God will know what you did) ~ Fear Not ~ Don't be discouraged by what you've read in this article so far. If all of the promises you've read in the bible, do not apply to you right now, they easily "can" apply to you. Miracles still happen today. Healing is more than possible. God does still speak and reveal things to us. Whether or not "you" are the instrument through which these things happen, depends strictly on where you stand. What does it mean "where you stand?" I'll give you a hint. If you have the approval of your pastor and 99% of the congregation of your church, there's a good chance, you're probably standing in the wrong place. (since most churches are based on money more than Christ) Having the approval of other people, was never a prerequisite to serving God in the bible. ~ Guidelines to Receiving Power From God ~ Would you like to be able to perform miracles? Lay hands on the sick and heal them? Speak in new tongues? Have God given wisdom? Be under God's protection? Cast out Demons? Be a great spiritual leader? If you would, there are guidelines that you absolutely need to follow first.
The greatest secret of the kingdom, and the prerequisite to giving and receiving miracles, healing and direct communication from God, are all summed up in #4. Numbers 1 through 3, simply describe what a disciple is. ~ How to Recognize a Disciple ~ Actually, you don't just recognize a disciple and say "There he is!" You'll never see him (or her) at the pulpit, preaching prosperity or get rich formula's. He will not be the one standing under the bright lights, with hundreds or thousands of people clamoring to get to him, while at the same time claiming, you are cursed if you don't tithe to his ministry. As a matter of fact, the message he preaches will not be very popular with the religious people at all, just as his master's message was not received very well by the religious people. Just as the majority of the population did not accept his master, neither will they widely accept him. The message he gives will be true, but few will listen to it, and few will let him show them the way to heaven. (Jesus said: "Only a few will enter") If you strive to live by the list above, numbers 1 through 4, it will eventually become obvious to you that "Jesus was right". ~ The Secret Revealed ~ So, the bad news is, If you're laying hands on the sick and they are not recovering, and if you are neither receiving or performing miracles, and if you are not speaking in tongues or casting out demons, it's because you are "not" a disciple! (The people whom Jesus was speaking to when he made these promises) The good news is: "WE ARE ALL MEANT TO BE DISCIPLES". Jesus said: Matthew 28:18 - And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, "All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.Matthew 28:19 - "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,Matthew 28:20 - teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."What is a disciple and what does a disciple do? A disciple is a follower or pupil of a teacher, leader, or philosophy. (In this case, it is not "a" philosophy, it is "the" philosophy) So, what are you waiting for? First you find a disciple, (one who is guided by the list above - 1 through 4) You learn, and then you become a disciple. Then, you go and make disciples! Luke 6:40 - "A pupil is not above his teacher; but everyone, after he has been fully trained, will be like his teacher.Then all the promises you've read "will" apply to you. So, if you're still confused, why after attending church once or twice a week, and giving all your money away, you're still not being showered with financial blessings, It's because you've skipped steps 1 through 4 above. Start with #3, and everything else will fall in line. Start having a personal relationship with God today. Skip the fancy eloquent sounding prayers, laced with allot of impressive sounding "thee's and thou's" and just talk to him, from the heart, just like you'd talk to anyone else. God loves the personal communication from us. It is what he made us for. Just like he used to love to walk and talk with Adam in the garden, God still loves to walk and talk with you. While your talking, seek to be close and pleasing to him, not what you can get from him. You will be amazed and awed at how much he will bless you. (trust me) It may or may not be in exactly the way you want, but if it isn't, I promise you, it will be "even better". Leave the blessing to him, he's the expert!
