The big difference with Open Office is, there is no "price gouging" going on here. Matter of fact, there's "no price at all". That's like a $500.00 savings for you. I personally downloaded, installed and tried out this program. It worked wonderfully. I have been using Word Perfect. I loaded Word perfect documents, using Open Office, and they translated Perfectly. A completely "FREE" download! However, they do accept donations. Hmmm, tough choice! Do I want to pay $500.00 for the popular program and let them dictate where I can install it, and how many times? Or do I want to send a few bucks to "these guys", if I wish to do so? (tough choice)
